About

My name is Alexander Muse.  I am a technology entrepreneur based in Dallas, Texas.  I have been a long time Republican; however, over the past decade I have felt as though the party has lost its way.  I considered joining various independent parties and participated in some of the Tea Party events, but at the end of the day I yearn for the party of Lincoln, the party of Reagan, the party of Newt Gingrich.  Don’t you?

I regularly speak at conferences and universities throughout the United States and Europe on topics ranging from mobile shopping to entrepreneurship. Last year I was asked to give a sixty minute presentation on the impact mobile applications are having on retail at the French Senate in Paris. Since then I have been invited to speak to various groups about mobile entrepreneurship in Bangalore, Barcelona, Hamburg, Amsterdam and London. Throughout the year I can be seen speaking at conferences including the Mobile World Congress, 4G World, CITA, SXSW, Barcamp and Startup Weekend.

I especially enjoy speaking to students and have been asked to lecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Rice University, Southern Methodist University, The University of Texas @ Austin and I am a regular guest lecturer at The University of Texas at Dallas. Alumni organizations from the MIT Enterprise Forum to the Texas A&M have also invited me to speak to their organizations. I am comfortable speaking to small intimate groups or to very large conferences. I am happy to speak individually or on panels on topics including startups, entrepreneurship, bootstrapping, mobile technology and ShopSavvy. To book a speaking engagement please contact my publicist Scott Baradell at sbaradell@ideagrove.com or at 972.235.3439.

I have been involved in several organizations including the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas (EFTN), the Young Entrepreneurs Organization (YEO), SXSW Alumni Association, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), IEEE, NATPE and The Open Management Consortium.
